In The Still of That Silent Night And Holy Night
In Bethlehem a child was born that first of Christmas
nights, born to raise mankind to glorious heights.
Noel, noel the angels sang thru the night that the star
shined its light o’r the Christ Child come down.
This night the angels paid homage to the Son of
God, Who lay in a humble manger in the
town of Bethlehem.
His birth was foretold, yet man failed to hear, that the
birth of the Savior was definitely here.
Emmanuel’s birth on this day did appear, and choirs of
angels did sing in praise and great cheer
So on this holy night in humble surroundings on earth
came He, the One who would save both thee and me.
This night heralded the salvation of man in the
wonderful gift of His love.
In swaddling clothes and laid in a manger, Christ Jesus
was born to lift man out of danger.
Love came in the guise of an ordinary babe, that all of
mankind could be saved.
Love was extended to mankind that night in the guise of
a babe bathed in angelic light.
Oh, come all ye with joy and good will, rejoice that the
Gift of God’s love is with us still.
For on this night, so long ago, neath the star that
shone so angelically bright, Christ the Babe of Salvation was born.
The angels sang their noels to poor shepherds who were
watching their sheep, on this bright night so deep.
Holy is the night of grace fulfilled, this wondrous
night that God had so graciously willed.
Angels sang out in glorious intonation , marveling at
the birth of the Child born to free every nation.
This tiny Babe in slumber lay quietly sleeping in a
manger of hay on this glorious birthmight.
Sing I of the glorious blessing born of God’s love, the
angelic child from heaven above.
In the birth of this child of prophecy fulfilled from
above, came the power to heal and to love.
Love lifted unworthy man to heavenly heights on this
most blessed of earthly nights.
Emmanuel was born of God’s omnipresent love for errant
man, to enable His Salvation plan.
Now as this town lay sleeping, the shepherds watched in
startled awe at the angelic miracle they saw.
The gift of God’s love came to earth heralded by angels
on that first Christmas night.
Now I shall sing forever of His love come down.
I will sing forever of God’s love come down, of His
presence in every village and town.
God so loved mankind that He had His love in Jesus, to
man come down.
His plan was enacted for the benefit of man, His will is that His love would rescue man.
Thus on this day, the Lamb of God came down to free man
from the chains of sin.
Holy is the Name of the Lord, nothing else can cleanse
man’s soul or purify him.
Oh, I will sing the praises of the Lord who came down to
rescue me and thee.
Love came down to rescue me, with His Plan of Salvation
He set me free.
Yeshua, God’s only begotten Son was destined to free
mankind from sin’s chains.
Now it is a matter of blessed history, that Love came
down to rescue thee and me.
I will sing forever of His majesty, I will sing forever
that He came for me.
God came down from heaven, to set me free, His
forgiveness gave us liberty.
His Holy Spirit comes down to comfort me, I will sing
forever of His Love for me.
Thus, I will sing forever of God’s love for me, for His
love has rescued both you and me.
