Decreed to die because of my sinful life, Jesus, You
became man to take my place in condemnation’s seat.

Once in prophetic prediction You insisted John baptize
You, down by the riverside.

Water covered You like deaths grave, but up You rose
predicting Your resurrection.

Nailed to a cross, speared in Your side, You died, then
arose again to claim eternal life for man.

Born  of a virgin,
raised a carpenter’s son, that our lives would not be in vain, You allowed
Yourself to be slain.

Yeshua, You did teach peace and love by example, even
insisting on baptism down by the riverside.

Though blameless, You were baptized, suffered and died
to rise again for the likes of sinful me.

He took the crown of thorns upon His brow, the stripes
of sin upon His Back, then died for mans sinful lack of grace.

Elohim’s Son, wrongfully convicted and nailed to a tree,
arose again in glory, as prophesied, to set man free.

Redemption was paid for by the Lamb of God, who was
blameless, pure and sinless.

In being baptized by John, Christ predicted his death
and glorious resurrection, down by the riverside.

Victorie’s grace for man was gained that wonderful day,
when Christ arose in glory from the dead.

Elohim’s Son prophesied by his baptism His eventual
death and resurrection to give man a new direction.

Redeemer King, Son of God, Your glorious resurrection
did bring me eternal life in Thee.

Saved by the Blood of the Lamb for sinners slain, I
kneel before God in righteous praise.

In Your gift of grace, oh Righteous One, I became reborn
into eternal life with You.

Death, thy sting no more holds sway, for Christ, God’s
Son, has shown me the way.

Eternal life He gained and granted me on His glorious
resurrection day.
