Come, let us reason together in the presence of the Holy Spirit and God’s Son Jesus.
Ordinary things in life claim much of our lives, yet their existence is fleeting, why grasp for the temporary?
No possession, position, purchase or purse created by man is permanent, why grasp for the temporary?
For the four ‘P’s of this life are of small duration in time, they pass on to others, why pay them much attention?
In God, who is eternal, is the source of all that endures, why ignore Him?
Denying God’s existence is as logical as denying one’s own life for He has given it.
Eternal is He who created all that exists, both visible and invisible, why glorify the temporary?
Nothing existed before the Word, and all things exist because the Word is God, why glorify the temporary?
Take heed, the Savior declared the riches of this world could lose us eternal life in Him.

I
f man pays more attention to the temporary things of this earth then to God, his reward shall be temporary,
Nothing of this earth lasts forever, God’s Word endureth forever, why grasp for the temporary?

Christ came to give man a choice between all that exists temporarily or eternal life with Him, why grasp for the temporary?
He suffered, died and rose again to give man the option between death and eternal life, why chose death?
Redemption is offered to all who permit God’s loving wisdom to guide their lives today.
Invested by the Holy Spirit in grace, granted for the asking, we shall overcome death as He did.
Saved by the Blood of the lamb for sinners slain, we are reborn into a new life.
Thus confidently we can say; Lord Jesus, make me an instrument of your divine will for nothing is beyond Your abilities.
