CALL AND RESPONSE

Christ Jesus, I heard You softly calling, gently guiding
me to You.

As I was wandering in Satan’s desert, You called with
love to guide me in.

Lord I heard you gently calling that I cease my
wandering.

Lord You led me back to greener pastures, that my new
life could begin.

Adonai, tear asunder the enticements that make me wander
from You I plea.

Now I hear you gently calling, guiding me back home to
Thee.

Defend me Lord from Satan’s calling, least back in sin I
find myself falling.

Renew me Lord, as in humble supplication, I turn my
heart to Thee.

Employ me to Thy greater glory that my actions show Your
truth abundantly.

Santify me oh Lord of Heaven as I actively seek Thy
Will.

Protect me Lord in my endeavors for the love of Thee.

Omnipotent God of all, let my every movement be blest
according to Thy holy call.

Nurture me oh blessed Savior fill me with grace and help
me act within Thy Holy Will.

Stand by me Oh Holy Spirit grant me grace to respond
according to Thy Will.

Emmanuel, as I hear You calling let my response be, all
my deeds for Thee.
