Nurture me with Thy Holy Word, that I may grow in knowledge and faithfulness, command my life according to Thy will so I do not fall away from Thy presence.

Grant me Thy favor, oh Heavenly Father, look upon me with Thy compassion, lift me up when I fall, for without Thee I am buffered by the winds of circumstance.

I am not a rock, for my existence, both physically and emotionally, is constantly affected by my earthly and spiritual surroundings, without Thee I am truly lost.

Nurture me with Thy Redeeming Grace, Lord Jesus, so that my sins are forgiven me and my heart, mind and soul are made pleasing in Thy omnipresent sight.

Prepare me, oh Lord my God, for service in accordance with Thy Omnipotent Will, for left to my own devices and without Thy intervention my efforts yield nothing.
